Personal Narrative Question Responses

1) There currently not enough details when describing my place based of the Personal Narrative I wrote. I described the place but I definitely could do a better, more in-depth job at creating imagery, in which my audience feels as if they are there at my place.

2) I will need to establish myself as credible without sounding like I’m the only one who’s been through the thought processes I’ve had when I was at the place. I need to do this while also being able to show that I am the only person who has experience what I have physically at this place.

3) The discussion of place is my childhood backyard which tends to be same ol’ same ol’, however, my place is a specific spot in my backyard that is both unique to me and unique to any backyard.

4) My intended audience would have to be anyone who can relate to what I have experienced and where there place to think was. Ex: similar story to me but maybe a unique place to them. Someone who is between the ages of 18-25 who can reflect on a similar childhood experience and place.

5) I assume that my readers have experienced what I have in a similar way or have a place of comfort and thought during the times of grief or times of happiness. I am tapping into it because my place and how I describe it should make the readers consider and reflect on their own experiences and how it compares to mine. Did they too feel alone but felt comfort by having a place to think all of their thoughts out?
